Download the recovery key. It is the only way back in if you forget your vault password.

Import and install
Import from your browser or old password manager, then add the extension or app on your second device.
Security
Zero-knowledge on every plan, including Free
- Items are encrypted on your device with AES-256-GCM before they sync
- Your vault key comes from your vault password through Argon2id, and we never receive that password
- Sign in with a passkey or two-step verification, with alerts for new sign-ins
- Six ways back in if you lose your 2FA phone; your vault still needs your vault password

Is Passkey-X really free?
Yes. The Free plan is free forever for one person: the full end-to-end encrypted vault with unlimited passwords, notes and cards on 2 devices. It is not a trial.
Can Passkey-X see my passwords?
No. Items are encrypted on your device with keys derived from your vault password, which we never receive. We store only ciphertext.
What does the free plan not include?
Free covers 2 devices and one vault. Personal adds unlimited devices, the rotation assistant, weekly Breach Watch, emergency access, trusted-contact recovery, travel mode, vault tripwires and up to 5,000 blocked sites.
Does the free password manager autofill?
Yes. The browser extension for Chrome, Edge, Brave and Opera fills and saves logins, and the Android app fills passwords and passkeys in apps. Free includes both, on up to 2 devices.
Can I import passwords from another password manager?
Yes. Import from 1Password, Bitwarden, LastPass, Dashlane, Keeper, Chrome, Edge and more. The file is read on your device and each entry is encrypted before upload.
Is there an iPhone app?
On iPhone and iPad, Passkey-X installs from Safari as a web app on your home screen. Native iOS autofill is not included yet.
What if I forget my vault password?
Use the recovery key you saved during setup. Without it nobody, including Passkey-X, can open the vault.
