Email log and email templates
See every email Passkey-X sent for you, whether it went out and why not. Owners and admins can add their own note to invitation emails.
Steps
Open Settings › Emails. Your email log lists the invitations, Secure Send emails, alerts and notices of the last 90 days. It's free on every plan.
Each email shows Sent, Queued, Retrying or Not sent with the reason in plain words, for example "Email sending isn't set up" or "rejected after 5 tries".
Sent but not arrived? Ask the person to check spam or promotions, or choose Resend on the invitation in Sharing › Invitations › Sent. You can always copy an invitation link and send it yourself.
Owners and admins also see every email members of the family or organization sent.
Paid plans and the Email add-on: under Email templates, pick an email (invitations, onboarding or notices), write a short note and a sign-off, and save. New emails use it straight away.
Good to know
- Only masked addresses are kept (a•••@example.com); messages and links are erased once an email is sent.
- Template notes are plain text and links are removed, and the security wording and buttons never change, so nobody can turn them into a phishing email.
- Choose Use the standard email to go back.
